Upper Darby High School, Upper Darby, PA

Upper Darby High School recently made a decision to upgrade its baseball and softball natural fields with a new state-of-the-art artificial turf system to enhance the playing experience for the athletes and provide a more durable and consistent surface for practices and games. A Costars project!

Project Specifics

• Site Work & Base Construction: Survey, soil and erosion controls, excavation and regrading existing baseball and softball fields, complete Stormwater Management System, artificial turf base construction (perimeter curb, collector pipes, geotextile fabric, flat pipe, drainage and finish stone)
• Baseball Field: Over 23,512 ft2 of FieldTurf "Double Play" artificial turf system and logos
• Softball Field: Over 10,993 ft2 of "FieldTurf "Double Play" artificial turf system and logos
• Equipment: Dugouts, bleachers, batting cage
